Beauty busy-ness

First and foremost, I’d like to thank you guys for all the support although I haven’t posted in the last couple of weeks! I am truly sorry…:-( I wasn’t really aware that the time had flown THAT fast…

Aside from being a busy mum with a website to work with, this blog, and much more;  I have a newly found “beauty busy-ness”. I’ve been namely asked to be a part of the committee of a prestigious beauty pageant Mutya ng Pilipinas Scandinavia. So my thoughts were occupied by the arrangements to be done for this pageant these last few weeks.

I want to share you though these images of sumptuous gowns from Mutya ng Pilipinas 2012 Coronation.

All Terno (from the Spanish word meaning “to match”) are designed by Renee Salud.

I like the embellishment on this above featured gown.

This one’s interesting: mermaid-ish, sexy and stunning blue shades.

These Ifugao inspired costumes, esp. the one with the long skirt, are simply beautiful .

I LOVE the turquoise outfit worn by candidate number 17 too!

OSLO Fashion Week August 2012

OFW February 2012

Oslo Fashion Week starts tomorrow. I’m not that keen on going though because I don’t have much reason to be there. It is so unfortunate (on my point of view, anyway) that there aren’t many designers who’d be participating this time 😦

After speaking with a fashion enthusiast and makeup artist friend, I’m actually considering on flying to Stockholm for their fashion week! Although they are concentrating on RTW this time, I think it would be more to my satisfaction being there 🙂

It’s not a loyal thing to do being a Norwegian and all but ….

It’s a pity really, when I know that there’s a lot of good designers here in Norway….. but there’s a lot of obstructions (as far as I’ve heard) for OFW to function as I hope and truly wish it would….. sigh….
